A small-web preservation experiment
Paco.org Time Machine
Surviving versions of my personal web presence, preserved as artifacts rather than redesigned as modern pages.
The archive now reaches 1998: a verified Paco.org/The Loudmouth page last updated October 21, 1998 and captured by Alexa/Wayback on January 25, 1999. It also includes original source files from 2000–2001, a verified 2003 Wayback-era predecessor site, the surviving 2005 Flash artifact, and the 2022 Paco.org build. Material is added only when a capture or surviving source can establish what actually existed.

Paco's Web o'Lies / The Loudmouth
The earliest verified Paco.org era recovered so far. The FrontPage 2.0 page uses a 750-pixel table layout, The Loudmouth masthead, theloudmouth@paco.org, October 1998 satire, period web links, a LinkExchange FastCounter and a Java applet.
Verified: original archived HTML and exact Wayback timestamp
Identified: original masthead, story-image and Java-applet asset paths
Original HTML files surviving in Google Drive include the portfolio pages, an early Paco.org/Francisco Rodriguez home page, a period résumé section, FrontPage rollover markup, ICQ and LinkExchange integrations, and the original directory structure.
Recovered: source-backed HTML and directory evidence from 2000–2001
Still in progress: dependent image recovery for a fully faithful local replica
The newspaper-and-graphic-design portfolio that preceded the preserved Paco.org eras. A verified Wayback capture shows the black portfolio homepage, editorial-design categories, Score/Buffy newsletter work, Beckett Football Monthly work and travel stories.
Verified: Wayback timestamp 20030326161956 and visible homepage
Pending: local recovery of original HTML and dependent images
A complete static build from Paco.org’s last public Git commit of 2022, preserving the period typography, colors, avatar, navigation, posts and images.
Recovered: 296 local pages and assets
Adjusted: internal URLs only, so browsing stays inside this archive
The verified Paco.org web history now reaches October 1998. The remaining search target is anything earlier than this capture, plus additional 1998–2000 pages and assets that can turn the surviving records into locally browsable historical snapshots.
