ORIGINAL SOURCE RECOVERY · 2000–2001

Recovered pre-Wayback site files

This record is based on surviving original files in the owner's Google Drive, not a reconstruction from screenshots. The files preserve their old modification dates and period HTML.

Important: this pass confirms the original HTML tree, but not every dependent image has been recovered into frodriguez.net yet. The pages are therefore cataloged here as source-verified artifacts rather than presented as a cosmetically complete replica.

JULY 4–13, 2000

Portfolio source tree

A surviving portfolio directory contains period pages including cards.html, ads.html, news.html, graphics.html, sunday.html, food.html, plus subdirectories for cards, pages, graphics, images, ads and tearsheets.

The original files are Microsoft-era static HTML and predate the later 2003 Wayback portfolio capture.

JUNE–AUGUST 2001

Early Paco.org / Francisco Rodriguez site

The surviving source includes main.html with a 640-pixel table layout, FrontPage rollover navigation, an images/pacoorg.jpg masthead, ICQ integration, LinkExchange FastCounter markup, links to résumé and portfolio sections, and the contact address paco@theloudmouth.com.

A sibling resume directory preserves index.htm, a period résumé PDF, and an images subdirectory. The résumé page links back to ../main.html, confirming that these files belonged to the same original site tree.

PROVENANCE

Why this matters

This is the earliest source-backed web material currently represented in the Time Machine. It moves the preserved history back from 2003 to 2000 and establishes that Paco.org and the franciscorodriguez.com portfolio evolved from a shared local source archive.
